  8. disappeared as a nation after the Byzantine
  9. emperor Justinian I reconquered Italy 535-55.
  10. The Visigoths migrated to Thrace. Under
  11. Alaric they raided Greece and Italy 395-410,
  12. sacked Rome, and established a kingdom in S
  13. France. Expelled from there by the Franks,
  14. they established a Spanish kingdom which
  15. lasted until the Moorish conquest of 711.
